Title: El Diablo feo
Post by: Jennifer Wang on August 01, 2019, 12:05:50 PM
Rob asked all of us to post something.
Here is a picture taken last month - Me on EL Diablo Feo - 5.8 Three stars, Lost World area.
A great climb.

Damn good photo (of what I think is the best 5.8 on SPH).

But Jennifer... is it just me or do you look really old in that photo? Maybe it's just me....

Can't be bothered right now except for the warning that I will be dropped if I don't stop climbing chalk and concretions and get back to the pass. I did find some porphyritic granodiorite intruding the migmatites on a peak in a large, as yet to be named mountain range - the protruding feldspar knobs really reminded me of the knobs at the pass.

Lost World, right side, just before dropping down into the lower section.
