These were on 12/1/18. Sunday was bluebird, but didn't ride.
Got rowdy up higher... was a short rip, so headed back kinda early...

So when you gonna highpoint on HCD?!
Longing for some snowy Sonora turns from a drizzly Seattle office...
I skart taking the road into Pcrest Peak. Steep walls with rollerballs and no where to go but the trees. Probably would have been fine, but what I don't know is the prob. :)
Speaking of high marks... saw these sweet fun floaty lines the day I went to the Pass...

Surprised myself I got this far up that day to the Pass...
So enjoyable. Tons of pow. Tons of practice. Fun riding. Bluebird sky. Met some riders. The snow mobile crowd strikes me a lot like the climbing community in that there isn't that many folks that do this and because of the objective dangers they really take care of each other.

I really dislike FB's handling of image quality. Not that this is a great pic, but the sizing even expanded on FB doesn't really match to how the picture was taken.

"For snow, estimates for this week include 5 to 6.5 feet on Carson Pass/State Route 88 (SR-88), Ebbetts Pass/SR-4 and Sonora Pass/SR-108. Snow levels are expected to fall to 4,500 to 5,500 feet this the week, with visibility issues."
incredible!
Reeeeediculous amount of snow up there. This is one for the books.
Heading up tmrw. 108 is single pass groomed at least to the Vista and the whoopties are mellowed out now.
